AJ Dahottest is a rapper, DJ and radio personality from Ghana in West Africa. His genre of music is Afropop influenced by hiphop owing to his love for Tupac Amaru Shaqur. He aims to use his music to spread positive energy among youths of Africa and worldwide as a way of awakening them to realizing their power to creating better futures for themselves.
AJ has been underground since 2012 while working as a radio DJ in Ghana's capital city Accra. In the first quarter of 2014 however, he decided to focus more on his musical talents by coming out as a fully blown musician.
On April 20, 2014 AJ released his single online titled "You & I" via Reverbnation.com.
The track by the Ghanaian born artist features ace musician Trigmatic and another young upcoming artiste named AKO, both of whom are Ghanaians.

"You & I" according to AJ is an ode to strong women world wide who are either standing firmly by their men or pushing through the storms of life despite prevailing negativities to arrive at their respective life's destinations. The track in its entirety will also be available for download a week after its online release on his Reverbnation.The artist is working on his first album to be released soon and expresses appreciation to all who have been a motivation and encouragement to him.
