Q: Since Ghana is your birth country, give us a short history of your life there and why you left

A: I grew up in Tema where my father worked for VALCO (Volta Aluminum Company) a Kaiser subsidiary. I was blessed to have such a wonderful childhood in which I did my elementary education at Tema Parents Association which in my view is the best school in Tema. I continued to Mfantsiman Girls for my high school education. After my high school education I worked for the government of Ghana for a year as a Kindergarten Teacher as part of  requirement for anyone who intended to attend an institution of higher education.

So I have had a PayPal account for some years now and never had problems using it. I do my interactions without a human interference as their system is designed such that you can get most of the help you need either online or talking to the computer on phone via their Resolution Center or where necessary, have a human interaction.

Ghanaian musician and social activist Rocky Dawuni joined Hillary Clinton and other dignitaries for the three-year anniversary celebration of the Global Alliance For Clean Cookstoves in New York City (NYC) late September of 2013. Clinton launched the Global Alliance at the Clinton Global Initiative under the auspices of the UN Foundation to promote the universal adoption of clean cooking solutions as a means to combat Household Air Pollution (HAP) and climate change.

Mutombo da Poet hangs out with #TheAfricanDream

On Tuesday October 1 2013, #TheAfricanDream had the chance to hangout with Mutombo da Poet of Ghana. Mutombo is a prolific spoken word poet who released his first album; Photosentences in April 2012 under the record label Pidgen Music in Ghana.
