According to the White House, the President's African tour forms part of plans to reaffirm U.S. commitment to peace, security, development, and prosperity across Africa.
Ray 'The Emperor' Narh of Ghana announced his return to the ring with a convincing win over Ronald Cruz on June 14, 2013 at the Sands Bethlehem Event Center in Pennsylvania USA where both fighters locked horns in a Welterweight division bout. Narh dedicated the win to his mother; Flory.
It has been two years and two months since Ghanaian boxer Ray 'Sugar Ray' Narh stepped into a ring to fight, that fight however saw him record his second ever loss to Mike Alvarado of the USA in Las Vegas Nevada. Come the 14th of June this year, Ray Narh tells me all that is set to change as he battles Ronald Cruz in a 10 rounder tune up Welterweight fight in Bethlehem Pennsylvania.

On March 22, 2013, Joseph Agbeko
dethroned Colombian born Luis Melendez in a 12 round unanimous decision fight
at the Accra sports stadium in Ghana to become the new International Boxing
Organization Bantamweight Champion of the world. I had the opportunity of
chatting with Joseph ‘King Kong’ Agbeko a few weeks after the Ghanaian fighter became a champion.
